Summer is nearly over, the kids are back to school, Labor Day has passed, and now it's time to re-focus on our jobs, careers, and daily activities. Finish that sentence with your choice of products sold at the STADIUM VILLAGE FARMERS MARKET! The first Tuesday market was a great success. This week there will be even more vendors and the produce section will continue to grow as producers are able to harvest. I personally sampled lavender and lemonade artisan marshmallows, the fruitiest wine I've ever had (and it was amazing), whipped cinnamon honey, and some spectacular milk chocolate. Here are a few photos of the opening night. The market will be open on Tuesdays from 4:00 to 7:30 p.m. right across the street from Shapiro's Deli on South Meridian Street in Indianapolis.
