Join the fight against Lou Gehrig's Disease by Walking to Defeat ALS on Saturday, September 24, 2011 at White River State Park in Indianapolis, Indiana. Registration is at 10 a.m. and the start time for the walk is 12 p.m. This is a 2 mile family friendly event for a good cause. There will be music, snacks and activities, so come to downtown Indianapolis and participate! Of course we would love for you to stop by Shapiro's Deli at 808 S. Meridian Street before or after the event. We are open for breakfast at 6:30 a.m. and we have some incredible fried chicken on Saturday afternoons.
