Notes from Shapiro's Deli

We hear from our great customers every day about their own personal history with Shapiro's.  Just the other day a guy was telling me how Uncle Max (Shapiro of course) used to shake a whole salmon at him when he was a little boy, pretending the fish was alive.  Some of our employees have served 3 or 4 generations of the same family.  Sure it makes us feel old, but we are proud to have this history with our customers too.  Tell us your story!  Send me an e-mail to deli@shapiros.com.  We will try to share as many as we can here on the blog.  Be sure to include what your favorite dish is at Shapiro's.  We'd like to brag about our kosher style food and let everyone know why we've been around for over 100 years.
