We found out today Russell is going to have some bypass surgery. We wish him a successful operation and a quick recovery! He has been working in the early, early morning for many years now. No one can cut meat for our meat case like him. He is hands down the best meat cutter in the restaurant. If you ordered a party tray, Russell cut the meat. If you had a catering order, Russell probably cut your meat. If you came in for breakfast, you probably got a "Good Morning" from Russell. If you came in to pick up bagels, Russell took care of you. Everybody think good thoughts for Russell! Hopefully he will be back in the front window of Shapiro's soon.
