Notes from Shapiro's Deli

Starting June 1st, every Tuesday through the summer from 4:00 p.m to 7:30 p.m. the Stadium Village Farmers Market will be hosted in the parking lot of Shapiro's Deli downtown.  This market will be bringing local, fresh, good food to the workers and residents of downtown Indianapolis.  For more information go to www.stadiumvillagefarmersmarket.com or find them on Facebook at Stadium Village Farmers Market.  There you can find the list of vendors, which all happen to be grower/producers.  There are no re-sellers.  You will be able to shop for lamb, beef, chicken, wine, dairy, honey, syrup, baked good, flowers, and chocolates to name a few!  I know I will have a new place to get my shopping done - how about you?  If you are interested in become a vendor at this location please go to the Stadium Village web site.
