It's back!!!! The outdoor patio section at Shapiro's Carmel is opening up this weekend. If you didn't try out the grill menu last year, you have to come try it this summer. It will be open Monday to Friday from 11am to 3pm and Saturday and Sunday from 11am to 6pm (weather permitting). The special grill menu includes Hamburgers, Hot Dogs, Chicken Sandwiches, and Steak Sandwiches (cooked to order). The best part... every item is under $8 and includes a bag of chips. Well it's Labor Day weekend and there are plenty of things to do if you are staying home for the holiday. NHRA Mac Tools U.S. Nationals are at O'Reilly Raceway Park, Rib America Festival at Military Park, Labor Day Parade in downtown Indianapolis Saturday at 11 a.m., American Idols Concert at Conseco Fieldhouse Saturday at 7 p.m., Indiana Fever game Sunday at 4 p.m., and last but not least, the Horseshoe Classic at Lucas Oil Stadium Saturday. This is the inaugural event of the Horseshoe Classic, which features four high school football games with talent from Indiana & Ohio.
